Klorofil = programming language

Klorofil is an initiative which is built to empower PHP to be used for developing enterprise applications. Currently, Klorofil develop a "library" named as Klorofil Platform.

Klorofil Platform is not a programming language. It is a platform made for PHP programming language. Klorofil Platform provides programming libraries to help application development using PHP. Some of the libraries are:

- gambArt : a library for developing GUI desktop applications. Currently, PHP programming language mostly used to develop web based application. Now, using gambArt, you can develop a GUI desktop application based on PHP.

- semok : a library for developing web applications. This library will be available in Klorofil Platform 0.2 which will be released in late January 2006.

- Some other PHP class libraries to help application development. (e.g. SMS, networking, etc.)

We don't have the IDE yet to develop gambArt based applications. The IDE will be available in the future. Currently, if you want to develop application using gambArt, you have to do it "manually". It is easy.

Yes. Klorofil Platform has a database library which able to communicate with MySQL.

A beginner PHP Programmer will be able to use Klorofil Platform easily.
