Klorofil delighted to present Purefect Desktop Online Demo Purefect Public Server. We hope the demo will help users learn more about Purefect Desktop before we release Purefect's source code to the Open Source community.

Purefect was developed in order to help developers (and ISVs) in developing RIA-based applications that can be deployed on intranet portal.

Eventough in its early stage, Purefect has many interesting features.

Here is the list of features you should try:

  • Kambium IDE (Web-Based "drag and drop" IDE): The IDE is one of Purefect's most interesting applications. You can use the IDE to build Purefect applications easily. Click the 'Help Icon' in the IDE to read Purefect API documentation.
  • FlazTalk Instant Messaging: You can use the application to chat with other Purefect users. Try to chat with your friends.
  • Stomata File Explorer.
  • Display Settings: You can change your desktop wallpaper easily.
  • And many more.

Current version only support Mozilla Firefox. We will support more browsers in the future.

We do realize Purefect still lack many features. This demo is only for testing purpose. Your comments are very important for the future of Purefect.

Kambium Demo

Hi,

The Kambium demo on the Purefect Demo does not seems to work for me. When I open Kambium, the splash screen is displayed all the time (with the application in the background already opened). Also, no components are loaded in the component palette, and I cannot view any project that I create. I also cannot view any form that I create, or the form that is part of a new project.

I'll try again later today to see if this only happened once.

Can you access Kambium now?

Btw, we will regularly clean Purefect database so your login information could be deleted. We're really sorry for that.

Hi Coders,

for me it is running and working. Looks very cool. ;)

To help you find small bugs => there are some invalid HTML-Tags in the login-screen.

Would be nice if you could fix this in the future.

Here is what my validator is complaining about:

(It is in German. Zeile=line and Zeichen=char)

Zeile 1 Zeichen 1 - Warnung: missing <!DOCTYPE> declaration

(This could be the main problem why it is not working in other browsers?)

Zeile 5 Zeichen 6 - Warnung: adjacent hyphens within comment

Zeile 12 Zeichen 1 - Warnung: <script> inserting "type" attribute

(repeated for every JS)

Zeile 73 Zeichen 2 - Warnung: <body> proprietary attribute "leftmargin"

(can be solved by using css)

Zeile 73 Zeichen 2 - Warnung: <body> proprietary attribute "rightmargin"

Zeile 73 Zeichen 2 - Warnung: <body> proprietary attribute "topmargin"

Zeile 73 Zeichen 2 - Warnung: <body> proprietary attribute "bottommargin"

Zeile 82 Zeichen 2 - Warnung: <script> inserting "type" attribute

Zeile 269 Zeichen 47 - Warnung: <font> proprietary attribute "onclick"

(uhh, never use "font" and never ever melt it with an event handler ;) )

Zeile 279 Zeichen 13 - Warnung: <div> attribute "id" has invalid value "" + this.name + "___bg"

invalid user id or password

I get a nasty alert box saying "Invalid UserID or password".

I am sure I use the right username and password (the ones used on registration).

What's wrong?
